Testimonials
"Excellent Resturant"
Only stayed one night on business, the resturant was packed and I can understand why as the food they serve is excellent. If I ever need to stay in the area again this will be the hotel that I use.

"One night stop over"
We stayed for 1 night however we were later arriving (7:00pm) and needed to be out by 7:30 - so didnt really get the full use of the hotel/bar/restaurant - however it did seem very busy and a few conference dinners were running. We did however stay in the bar until silly oclock and Perry was very attentive. Quite pricey for the location but nice to know there is somewhere decent to stay in Southend. Bedroom was beautiful and the "extras" were of a good quality with a lot of thought behind them. We had a sea view - however we were on the corner and bottom floor so we had to look onto the road as opposed to the sea.

"Perfect!"
We held our daughters wedding reception in the hotel, the room was superb with views of the sea and firework displa. The staff could not have been more accommodating as we wanted an unusual menu which resulted in the chefs having to prepare 500 portions.Sarah really worked hard ensuring that everything ran smoothly and she gave the elderly members of our family extra special attention. This was a special occasion which the hotel staff made all the better. The bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard and everyone of our party who stayed overnight received a room discount.

"Accomodating staff where nothing was a drama"
We booked here as it was dog friendly. The staff ensured we had a dog friendly table for dinner and didn't flinch when we changed our reservation. Room was very clean and we loved the little touches.. somethings that bigger hotels miss or skimp on. Very friendly helpful staff and all very reasonably priced. a stone's throw from the beach A lovely weekend stay.
