Your microneedling session will take approximately 30–50 minutes, depending on your individual needs.

Here’s a simple overview of what happens during your appointment:

• Gentle Cleansing: We begin by cleansing the eye and lip area, followed by a thorough double cleanse of the face and neck to ensure your skin is perfectly prepared.
• Skin Preparation: A sterile saline solution is used to remove any remaining impurities and create a clean, balanced surface.
• Serum Application: A suitable, targeted serum is applied to enhance treatment results and support your skin throughout the process.
• Microneedling: The microneedling begins, using fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, encouraging collagen production and skin rejuvenation.
• Finishing Touch: The remainder of the serum is gently applied to soothe and nourish the skin after treatment.

Microneedling is a highly effective skin rejuvenation treatment; however, for your safety and optimal results, it is not suitable in the following situations. Please review the list carefully before booking your appointment.

Recent Skin Treatments

• Chemical Peels: Microneedling cannot be performed until a minimum of 2 weeks after a chemical peel.
• Laser Treatments or Microdermabrasion: Must be avoided for 14 days before and after these treatments.
• Recent Facial Surgery or Significant Scarring: Treatment should be delayed for 6–12 months depending on the severity of the surgery or scar tissue. A doctor’s clearance may be required.

Skin Conditions

• Active Acne Breakouts: Microneedling should not be done over active acne, cysts, or pustules to avoid spreading bacteria and worsening inflammation.
• Sunburn, Windburn, Bruising, Broken or Irritated Skin: Treatment cannot be performed until the skin is fully healed.
• Recent Sunbed Use: Microneedling cannot be carried out within 48 hours of sunbed use.
• Active Infections: Conditions such as cold sores (herpes simplex), shingles, warts, or any active skin or eye infection are contagious, so treatment must be postponed.

Medical Considerations

• Pregnancy or Breastfeeding: Microneedling is not recommended during this time.
• Keloid Scarring or History of Keloids: Individuals prone to keloid formation are not suitable candidates, as microneedling may worsen scarring.
• Blood Disorders or Anticoagulant Medication: Conditions that affect blood clotting, or the use of blood-thinning medication, may increase bleeding risk—consultation is required.
• Diabetes (Uncontrolled): Poorly controlled diabetes can impair healing and increase the risk of infection.
• Autoimmune Disorders or Immunosuppression: May affect healing response—consultation or medical clearance may be required.
• Use of Roaccutane/Isotretinoin: Microneedling cannot be performed until 6 months after completing the medication, as the skin is more prone to injury.

Microneedling is a highly effective, minimally invasive treatment designed to rejuvenate and improve the overall health and appearance of your skin. By stimulating your skin’s natural healing response, microneedling offers a wide range of benefits suitable for many skin types and concerns.

• Minimises Stretch Marks: Helps soften and fade stretch marks on various areas of the body.
• Improves Other Types of Scarring: Can reduce the appearance of certain surgical or injury scars (excluding keloid scars).

• Suitable for Most Skin Types: Safe for a wide range of skin tones and conditions.
