ABSOLUTE CONTRAINDICATIONS

Absolute Contraindications for Cryolipolysis, Shockwave, Cavitation & Radiofrequency
  • Anticoagulant Medication
  • Auto Immune Conditions
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Heart Condition including Pacemaker 
  • History of Cancer
  • Inflammation or Infection in the Treatment Area
  • Metal Prosthesis or Implants (area specific)
  • Pregnancy, Recent Pregnancy or Breast Feeding
  • Thrombosis or Thrombophlebitis

3D Cavitation

Possible Side Effects Contraindications
  • Bruising
  • Redness
  • Skin Sensitivity
  • Excess Alcohol
  • Kidney or Liver Impairment
  • Only one Kidney
  • Transplant Surgery
Pre & Post Treatment  

  • Avoid alcohol 24 hours before and after treatment.

  • Eat a well balanced diet on day of treatment, avoid 'fatty' foods.
  • Avoid caffeine and a heavy meal 2 hours before and after treatment.
  • Avoid eating a heavy meal 2 hours before and after treatment.
  • Drink 2 litres of water daily.

  • Blistering
  • Bruising
  • Redness
  • Scabbing
  • Skin Sensitivity
  • History of Keloid Scarring
  • Photosensitive Medication
  • Recent Skin Peeling
  • Skin Thinning Medication
Pre & Post Treatment
  • Avoid any heat on treated area for 48 hours - including sunbeds.
  • Drink 2 litres of water daily.

Aftercare
  • Maintain a healthy lifestyle
  • Exercise
  • Drink half a litre of water immediately after the treatment
  • Drink at least 2 litres of water daily

  • Numbness
  • Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia

  • Excess Alcohol

  • Water Retention
Pre and Post Treatment
  • Avoid any heat on treated area until the skin has normalised after treatment- including sunbeds
  • Bruising may be apparent for up to 10 days
  • Redness may be present for up to 4 weeks
  • Any numbness will subside gradually
  • Wear loose fitting clothes until redness and numbness subside
  • Drink 2 litres of water daily

  • Fragile skin

Possible Side Effects Post Treatment Recommendations
  • Slight redness in treatment area
  • Occasional minor muscle soreness
  • Possible abdominal discomfort
  • Do not exercise the treated area for 48 hours
