Southend-On-Sea is home to the longest pier on the world and a must when visiting our seaside destination. Extending 1.34 miles into the Thames Estuary, Southend Pier is a Grade II listed building and a town treasure that all the family can enjoy. You can stroll along the pier and enjoy the panoramic views of The Estuary and look back at the busy seafront.
The Pier is also home to a few cafés at the head of the pier, one is famous for the set of Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty’s Friday Night Feast TV programme. After a spot of lunch, enjoy the array of attractions like mini golf and the lifeboat station.
